Cmotion cinefade

The cmotion Cinefade VariND is a motorized variable ND filter that consists of two Arri polarizers. Cinefade fits in any 4x5.65 mattebox and can be wirelessly controlled through the cPRO lens control system. Cinefade can be operated in VariND, Cinefade or RotaPola modes. VariND mode allows you to adjust ND by 1/10 of a stop so you never have to adjust iris and maintain exposure while the camera is moving. 

Controlling the highlights is achieved when using the Cinefade in RotaPola mode, which is great for arm car applications. Depth of field racks or The Cinefade Effect, can be achieved when used in Cinefade mode. 

The Cinefade and a cForce iris motor work in conjunction with each other and maintain exposure while depth of field changes. Depth of field racks can be set to span over a long period of time or within a matter of seconds. Cinefade can be controlled from a cPRO hand unit, SteadyZoom or directly from the filter.
